The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund collaborates with a wide range
of donors and lenders, and with business, nonprofit and government
partners.
Together, we provide the financing and
support that people with low and moderate incomes need to have
affordable housing. Quality jobs. Child care and early education for
their children. And to become financially independent.
We were established in 1983, one of the first Community Development
Financial Institutions in the U.S., and have received the highest
honor in our field, the Wachovia NEXT Award for Opportunity
Finance.
The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund's founding principles.
1. We believe that one of the barriers that keeps people with low
incomes from achieving greater self-sufficiency is a lack of access
to credit.
2. We believe that people and organizations that have or manage
financial resources would be willing to help their neighbors if they
had a mechanism to do so.
The business credit analyst is responsible for reviewing credit data
to evaluate commercial loan requests and inform the approval/denial
process for loan applications. This person will analyze
financial information from a variety of sources to determine the
viability and risk associated with loan applications. The credit
analyst will rely on a set of criteria, as well as her or his own
experience and judgment, to accomplish the Community Loan Fund’s
lending goals.
Business Lender
The Business Lender’s responsibilities include networking and
screening prospects, as well as underwriting and analysis of
business loan requests. The ideal candidate will also be a
value-added
partner who is able to respond to borrower requests for help. This
position involves business and market analysis and the ability to
match clients to appropriate lending and non-lending resources.
A win-win approach and familiarity with lending compliance and best
practices are musts. This position requires a considerable amount of
hours outside the office and participation in all marketing
of the program’s products and services.
